Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga
Appropriate for all levels of students, our Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga class offers methods to support a healthy pregnancy and postpartum recovery using movement, relaxation, and breathing practices that promote both strength and ease. Expecting and new mothers will receive valuable practices and education on how to best prepare for and recover from pregnancy and birth. Practices will be offered to alleviate aches and pains common to expecting and new mothers with poses addressing the back, pelvis, core stabilization and neck and shoulders. Within a community of support you will learn tools and techniques for optimizing your pregnancy, birth and postpartum recovery and how to feel more centered and balanced.

Our therapeutic yoga class explores mindful movement with an emphasis on breath work, alignment, and individual balance. We maintain small class sizes to provide students with personalized education and modifications to promote strength, flexibility, and relaxation for your individual needs. Whether you are new to yoga, or an experienced student looking to deepen your current practice, the in-depth instruction provided promotes increased body awareness and a strong foundation for a sustainable yoga practice.

Issues like back, pelvic pain or incontinence shouldn't prevent someone from attending this type of yoga class.
Notes: this class is for women only, there will not be childcare. Vitality will provide mats, no need to bring anything but water.
